Falanghina
Tasting Notes
Falanghina wine has a rich history that dates back to the ancient Roman times. It is believed that the grape was introduced to the Campania region of Italy by the Greeks and later became indigenous to that region. The grape was resistant to the phylloxera epidemic in the late 19th century that destroyed a vast majority of the wine crops in Europe. The grape thrives in volcanic soils of the Campania region of Italy and produces wines that are reflective of its terroir; mineral rich and well balanced.
